Process Evaluations

Processes refer to the steps required to either produce a product or deliver a service. A process evaluation can tell you how well your processes are working and where improvements can be found.

In terms of programs (such as those carried out in public sector organizations), a process evaluation shows how long clients remain on a waiting list, how clients enter and exit the program or service, the ways in which services are delivered, and what happens to clients throughout this process.

In terms of products, this analysis can help you reduce the steps required in the production cycle, as well as reducing accident rates and absenteeism.

Respondents to a process evaluation can include your suppliers, customers, clients, staff and managers. Our key is the ‘360 degree study’ - gathering information from as many different perspectives as possible.
